About the SSWA
The SSWA is an independent non-profit organization. The SSWA gives legal advice on administrative and criminal law issues. Our team consists of professionals and students able to help resolve legal problems and answer questions concerning the above mentioned fields. If you have a legal problem of an administrative or criminal law nature, please feel free to contact or visit us. For specific problems, click here (Dutch). We invite you to contact or visit us when you are in need of legal assistance and are not sure whether the problem or question you have is covered by either administrative or criminal law. If it falls within the scope of our organization we’ll be able to assist you ourselves. In the event that it does not, we will be able to redirect you to other organizations similar to ours operating in the other fields of law within Amsterdam (click here for a summary of those organisations). Moreover, when you’re looking for a pro deo lawyer (partly financed by the government) or other affordable professional, we can assist you in finding one. Finally, our employees can represent you in certain cases before the Kantonrechter (the local criminal court for small offenses).
